Brazilian model Alessandra Ambrosio was easily my first ever girl crush and my introduction to everything girly. In my mind when I was 16ish she had the perfect life being so beautiful and modelling for VS which I still think she has today yet with an evolution in her style which is very laid back and put together at the same time. I love that she is a girl who accessorizes with scarfs with about every outfit that she can pull it off on. 

She shows off her runway bod in a great way that is not over the top at all and it comes off as very sexy. With her busy lifestyle she needs a wardrobe that she can work with and is comfortable as well.  I think that she is a great inspiration for girls everywhere because she is not flaunting the fact that she is a supermodel 24/7. Also with the fact that she looks amazing without any makeup whatsoever and laid back clothing choices really shows people that adore her that she is just like us and makes her more of an approachable person to look up to.

I picked these up at Ardenes a while ago and have been loving them ever since I got them. Have to have the right choice of outfit for them to go with but when you do have things that work with them they make any outfit look super cute! They are both floral print scarf like material bows attached to a silky elastic band. I picked both a light and dark colored ones so that they would match more of what I own, purples/pink/blue & yellow/pastels.

The only thing that I do not like about these pallets are the name choices for the pallets themselves but more so the names for the eye-shadow's themselves.  For 35$ a pallet I think that choosing one of the three would be enough if you really liked the range of colors that are offered.

#1 Emma Watson - Harry Potter and the deadly hallows pt.2
I do prefer her with her long hair then short but her sense of style when she is not dressed in wizard cloaks is amazing. She has grown up through the eyes of millions through the eight feature films of Harry Potter and always is dressed right for every occasion.

#2 Mila Kunis - Friends with benefits
Her post That 70's Show characters are evolving more and more and so is her style. She has a very girl next door look that works well for her because of how long she has been on screen. From bell bottoms and crazy hair to a sleek professional style Mila has emerged into a very well put together actress.

#3 Rosie Huntington-Whiteley - Transformers 3 Dark side of the moon
A great improvement from Megan Fox for one, a girl who knows she is the good looking lead in a movie and makes it work.She made a decent translation from runway model to actress , it made her look better in the movie then Fox ever did. Was not a fan of the fact that she was wearing tight white dresses the majority of the time but other then those she looked great. Off screen she is a VS model therefore has a good style all round.

The Vampire Diaries - Nina Dobrev

I am sure I am not the only person that is in love with her character on the CW's Vampire Diaries, and right now I am going through a serious withdraw since the end of season 2.

Elena /Katherine character in the series is amazing and it is great to see how well of an actress Nina has become within this show.

These outfits suite her actual personality off set which is what I love to see her wearing, always casual

Outfit #1- What I like so much about this is that she can have every item that she is wearing be casual and put them together to look amazing! I love the shorts and tights and how they go with her heals.

Outfit #2- Again I love her shoes in this outfit they really make the whole thing stand out and show her personal style.

Outfit #3 - What is great about this outfit is her choice of accessories that play up a simple look.  This is a classic look with the blazer that she plays up to her own terms.

Winners haul !

 

Almost Famous shorts.  I love the zipper compartment on the front of these shorts so I can run around in the summer without needing to bring a purse if I just need some change or a card and my cell phone.

 

Crop top by Bella D, can be wore off the shoulder and is great for a beach cover up.  It is see through and the top peice of material is the same on the back of the top which I really like

 

Dress by JJ Authentic, this pic doesn't do it much justice because it is in a size XS and looks huge!  Came with a waist belt in the same navy color, hugs the body very nicely.

 

Grey dress by Mine also came with a white and brown cross stitched belt. Has nice lace detailing on the top and bottom , is also a good length to wear anywhere during the summer.

 

Dress by Be Bop, the top is very form fitting and from the bust down it is nice and flowy perfect dress for the summer. 

 

Also picked up a American Eagle top to go with a pair of black bottoms that I already had and needed another cute top to go with.

My all time favorite right now is MAC's Mighty Aphrodite that came out with their wonderwoman collection (in picture it is the one with two shades). It is double the size of the other MAC blushes (I am holding one up right beside it). I love the packaging and it has its own mirror which all other MAC blushes don't. 

MAC well dressed is a really nice pink and great for every day wear for nights as well. Always my go to blush when I can't decide on one.

Benefit coralista , the formulation is one of the best I have tried. Smooth and easy to apply, comes with a brush yet the brush isn't that great. Also has a nice scent.Love the packaging!

foundations

Top 3 foundations !

For the summer I usually reach for my BB cream by Skin 79 because of the light weight and the great coverage it gives. The great thing about this is that it has a built in pump and is never a mess to use and the packaging is super cute! This also has SPF 25 therefore great to use on days where you will be in the sun often.
If I want more of a coverage in the summer then I will use Maybelline's Fit Me foundation, mine is in the shade 125.Also has SPF 18 so it is also good to use when your going to be exposed to the sun. This collection has a great range of tones and also has a matching concealer and powder foundation for every number in the collection.
If I want more of a dewy glow to my skin which is what I usually wear when I am going out at night or something I use NARS sheer glow foundation, mine is in Fiji . The only thing I don't like about this product is that there is no SPF hence the reason why I only use it when I am out at night.
Both of the two last ones say on the bottles that they should be shaken before application for a better quality of the product.

The packaging was SO cute, everything was tied with different colored bows and there was a little thank you letter attached to the brush holder.
My pink make up bag is in pink with black detailing with zebra print bow on one end.
The brush holder came with a little baggy of beads that come for free :) They help the brushes keep up straight and keep them clean !

Kate Middleton in Canada !

The Royal couple is visiting Canada and Kate looks amazing  ! I love the fact that she is wearing a silver maple leaf broach the majority of the time and I absolutely love her red hat.  I really think that the couple is putting out a positive image towards Canadians and getting more a more youthful interest in the royal family. Kate is always looking in style and looking put together perfectly for every occasion.
