Staying Fit!

I've begun going to the gym on a semi-regular bases for about three months now. I am looking to get toned and just over all strength from my muscles so I train with two of my best guy friends and they call what we do "muscle training".  These are my essential work out things other then my Ipod haha =)

Eat Clean Train Dirty Training Gym Tank $24.47 (CAD) from Etsy
Loose fitting tops are by far the best in my opinion for working out because I like to be comfortable and since I am not a person who sweats while in the gym this works for me. I either go with something plain or a shirt like this with a cute saying on it.

Free To Be Bra $42 (CAD)
I have tried many sports bras over the years and I even sell them in the store I work in but I always find myself going back to Lululemon for their comfort and reliability of keeping everything in place while I am working out. Their fits are amazing and they have so many different styles that would accommodate any type of work out and body type.

Run: Toasty Tec Tight $118 (CAD)
This is another product that I just can't stay away from because of how comfortable they are. They are nice and soft, tight in the right places, and have pockets in the most convenient places which is something I really like since I always have my Ipod and phone on me when I am at the gym. Even if their products are pricey they do have really good deals sometimes and their products last for years.

Nike LunaGlide +4  $79.99 (CAD)
Since I don't do a lot of cardio (max 30 minutes) when I go to the gym I don't really need to concern myself about what trainers I bring with me. I have always enjoyed Nike for their designs as well as their durability which is why I would recommend them. I think I have had the same pair for over two years now and they still look new.

Nike Alpha Heavy Weight Training Gloves $19.95 (CAD)
Since I have been starting to lift heavier weight I would recommend getting training gloves to prevent calluses. I picked these ones up at Winners and they work amazingly.

Pure Balance Water Bottle $28 (CAD)
I really hate reusing just plain water bottles so when I saw these glass bottles that are dishwasher safe I never had to think about having a plastic one for the gym anymore.

Outfit Idea #1

I wanted to put some outfits together that I would wear on a typical day here in Montreal whenever I feel inspired to do so. Sticking with the reality of our very cold winter we are experiencing right now this post consists of what I would wear if I was off to work or going out to run errands. Enjoy and expect posts more frequently now that I have a theme going down :)
The North Face Women's Get Down Jacket ($370 CAD)
It is dead freezing at the moment here so you really need to invest in a nice winter jacket or you will be uncomfortably cold anywhere you go. North Face is a greatly known brand here in Canada and have a lot of stylish jackets for every one!

Free People Canada Flag Scarf  ($37.54)
Currently in love with the idea of wearing a scarf that is secretly your country's flag ! Free People have this concept for the American flag as well and I believe there are some nice union jack ones out there too.

Double Cone Cuff from Bauble Bar ($42 CAD)
For an accessory I went simple because of the embellishment on the top that I chose below.

Spiked Shoulder Georgette Top from Forever 21 ($23.80 CAD)
This I would wear with a top basic top underneath maybe just a black tank top. I love two things about this top; number one being the beautiful neckline and of course the shoulder details! Any type of detailing like this on a classic type of top always sucks me right in.
MOTO Burgundy Baxter Jeans from Top Shop (On sale for $34.04 CAD)
Went with basic burgundy jeans to add some thing different then just leggins or a regular wash of jean just to switch it up.

ASOS Clover Leather Knee boots ($116.32CAD)
Every girl should own a good pair of black Knee boots because they go with pretty much any outfit and can transition from fall to winter as well as winter to spring!
